british passport interview question

Hi
I have submitted my passport application form on thursday and called the IPS today but they said they have still not got my application and advised me to call them in a day or two but my question is that i stay in london could they ask me to go somewhere out of london for the interview as i saw someone's case on the forum.
Please could someone advise.
