Best way forward to British Passport?

I and my wife have ILR which was granted a year ago. My son who was born in UK and is 3 years old also has ILR. As you can work out he was born before we got ILR. I also have another child born about three months ago, after us obtaining ILR. I am little confused what is next step for all of us to obtain british passport? Which forms to use? Can we all apply together?
Please help.

Thanks for all the help this forum has given me over the years.

For all you (apart from the latest addition), you will need to become British citizens before you could apply for a passport.

I suggest you read the following (scroll down to also read the children section) - Citizenship FAQs - Common Questions - Read before posting.

thanks, very helpful.

Please clarify if my son can apply for his registration with us via NCS or not?

Thanks

I take it that you are asking this for the youngest one and he has born in the UK!
If above is true and as he has born after you have got your ILR he is British by birth. Does not need to register. Can directly apply for British passport.

If born outside of UK then once one of the parent applies for naturalisation, the child can apply for Registration under section 3(1).

To clarify - "once one parent applies" in the post above means "can apply together".
