Hi,
I am going to apply for naturalisation as a citizenship in a few days.
I would like to request someone to help me with my application please.
1) What is the up to date version of form AN?
2) How much is the fee?
3) Do I need to submit bank statement along with my application?
4) In Section 3.1 to 3.5 of Form AN, details about occupation is asked. ( I am unemployed at the moment.)
* Must I need to have a job to be a successful application?
Since I do not have job, How can I answer those questions 3.1 to 3.5?
5) What kind of supporting documents do I need to attach to my application?
It will be so grateful and really appreciate if someone can kindly help me.
Thank you so much.
Kind Regards,
Luckyfawn

Thank for your reply
Actually I have read the link you sent
I want to adjust with my situation
How do I fill Section 3.1 to 3.5 of Form AN, as I have no job at the moment.
* Must I need to have a job to be a successful application?
OR is that OK if I have money in my account? If the bank statement is OK, how much minimum I need and for how many months balance I should show?
I know I have to submit
1)my passport
2)1 recent photo
3)life in the UK test result
What other supporting documents do I need to attach to my application?
eg. Landlord letter? bills?
Thank you so much.

Please reade the Guide -AN which answers all the questions. Also towards the end of the form-AN it categorically says what documents are needed.

Thank for your reply
I have read guide AN
But for Section 3 of Good Character Requirement, I am unemployed so
I don't know how to fill section 3.2 to 3.5 and I could not find the guide for it. Do I skip those questions?
* Must I need to have a job to be a successful application?

Thank you

No, these are essential. Read page 8ff of the
guide. Unemployment does not per se adversely affect your application. I would write: "currently unemployed as of: xxxx, last employer/PAYE reference: xxxx".

None.
Also of interest: Annex D to Chapter 18 of the case worker manual ("8.2 Caseworkers should note that the following matters should not normally, of themselves, be relevant to determining whether the good character requirement has been met: (...) e. Unemployment")

Can someone kindly advise me with filling up form AN please?
In form AN section1: Personal Information,
I already completed question 1.16: Present Address.
In question 1.17: Please provide your addresses for the past five years,
Do I have to write again the same address which I completed in question 1.16? OR Do I only need to say about my previous address?
( I have 2 addresses for the past five years )
If I need to re-write again about my present address, there are From (--/--/----date) and To( --/--/----date),
How should I fill in ' To(--/--/----date)'? Because this address is where I am living presently. If I put a date ( for example, the date I will submit the application), home office will think I moved out after that date.
If I want to write as 'presently living' in 'To(--/--/----date)', there is no place to write down letter. The form is formated only to put date.
Please kindly help and advise me.
Thank you very very much.
Kind Regards,
Luckyfawn

Did the applicant who left the blank at To(--/--/----date) success the application?

No idea but that has nothing to do with how this question on the form was answered.

Hi,
I am filling form AN for naturalisation and need some help please.
In section 6: declaration by applicant,
I have to tick each box for 6.2, 6.3, 6.4, 6.5 and 6.6.
Do I really need to tick the box for 6.6? I think I meet all requirements for naturalisation. 6.6 said ' I declare that, although I do not meet all of the statutory requirements for naturalisation,---'
Please someone kindly advise me.
And also please confirm me that;
I have no special circumstances for question 6.7. So to delete the phrase which is not applicable for question 6.6,
shall I delete ' in view of the following special circumstances'
Please advise me.
Looking forward to your kind reply.
Kind Regards,
Luckyfawn

Come on, it is not rocket science!
"*Delete if not applicable" - so unless you fail to meet the formal requirements, you do NOT tick box 6.6 but put a neat, clean line through the question. If you fail to meet the criteria AND have mitigating circumstances, tick box 6.6 and fill out question 6.7, otherwise leave blank. Simples!

Did you do the same as you advised me?
Guide AN said to tick each box. What I understood was I have to tick box 6.6 too.

Yes, I did, and you should read the complete sentence in guide AN: "ticking each box at 6.2-6.6 to confirm the points raised." You DO NOT want to confirm the content of box 6.6 so you DO NOT tick the box. On the contrary, the box explicitly tells you that you shall delete it if not applicable - so if it is indeed not applicable, you delete it.
