Child passport

Hi ,
My son born in UK and after his birth i applied for ILR and it granted. Now my question if i applied for my son british passport ,how long the whole process take, it mean registeration and passport process?

Thanks for your reply ,
As my child was born in UK , do i need to fill Residence requirements (section 2)?
And what will be the answer for ,
3.1 Please say which parent is the one who is a British citizen by descent and on whom this application is based ?
Cuz i am holding ILR .
Please help me out i really need to fill and send the form asap.

Section 2 - yes.
Section 3 - not required in your case.

But my child born in UK , what will be the answer for ,
2.1 If the child is resident in the United Kingdom or a British overseas territory (see page 8 of the guide), please give
date and place of first arrival ?

Thanks , sorry one more question ,shell i send /take my child foreign passport and UK ILR card as well . OR only birth certificate will be enough.
