I had my interview for first adult British Passport today. These are some of the questions asked:

Confirm your name with spelling
Date of Birth
Full address with postcode
What type of house is it?
Is it in a village or estate?
Is it at a busy junction?
How far is the nearest shop?
How far is the nearest school?
Where were you born?
Confirm your mother & father's full name, age & place of birth
Confirm your wife's name & age
Confirm who is living in your house
Confirm your counter signatory's name, age & profession
Who do you have a bank account with?
Who is your mortgage with?
When and where did you give the LITUK test?
When and where did you have the citizenship ceremony?
How did you apply for the passport? What documents did you send?

That's about all the questions I can remember. The lady asking the questions was very polite and friendly and explained at the start that this was to prevent identity fraud. Here's my timeline for those who are interested:

No problem. I was a little nervous about what questions they were going to ask but as I said already the lady was very friendly and just chatted about my work to put me at ease. All in all I would advise everybody just to photocopy their passport and naturalisation applications and be familiar with the information for this interview. And try and relax and be confident!

sorry but I can't stop laughing when I hear people being nervous for those "interviews"...it's not like it's a job interview and you may get a negative answer, they are confirming who you are, how hard can it be to answer the questions about YOU. And NEVER heard of people failing those interviews as you are a Brit, that's all, and it's a matter of time when you get that passport, no interviewer can prevent the interviewee from getting it.

Be nervous before a jab or an operation, not this charade!
