Dear moderators and gurus,
I would like to know if I can post-date my naturalisation application form as i entered the UK as the spouse of an EEA national on the 24th of december 2006.
24th of december 2012( monday ) will be exactly 6 years and I would like to Post my documents by special delivery on the 22nd of december 2012 which is ( saturday ) and it will get to the home office on the 24th ( monday ).
Should I put 24th of december 2012 on my application form even if I'm sending it off by special delivery to HO on the 22nd of december 2012.
Would it affect my application by doing so? Please advise. Thanks

The date on the application should be the date you sign the application. It doesn't need to be a date you are eligible to apply so its OK to put 22/12 (or earlier) on the form.

To be honest, you could also wait a few days as it is unlikely something would happen with the application before the New Year.
