Hi

i am due for BC from Nov 2012. had this question in my mind. I was on payroll for all my previous years. after my ILR last year i switched to self employment.

1. will only my last lear tax documents will be required/verified or my previous years tax records will also be checked/verified again.

2. if during my employment my employer failed to pay correct amount of tax, and HO verifies it from HMRC, what will happen to my BC application? will it also effect my ILR or not ??

Thanks

Send the Self assesment statement that was issued by the HO. it says this clearly in the Guidance notes. they can do all checks against your Ni No.

1. will only my last lear tax documents will be required/verified or my previous years tax records will also be checked/verified again.

Then can check a period of last 5-6 years less or more depending on them

2. if during my employment my employer failed to pay correct amount of tax, and HO verifies it from HMRC, what will happen to my BC application? will it also effect my ILR or not ??

This is not your problem but the emoployers problem. I wouldnt worry about this

Thanks
