You tick the box that you used it for ILR.

Life in the UK certificate - how to obtain number

Hello,

I passed the LIUK test last year (2011) and sent it to the UKBA when applying for the ILR.

I'm not sure if I got it back, as I can't find it now (or either my copy) after moving house.

Would you know how to confirm that the UKBA has got a copy of my LIUK certificate and the number so that I can complete my naturalisation application?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Juan Carlos

awdrys1 and jcargm, didn't you like the answer provided by CR001? If not, why not?

Look at the form AN, where you will indeed see that is a relevant box to tick, to indicate that the Certificate was used when applying for ILR.

Stop imagining a problem that does not exist!

Hi John,

I forgot to mention in my previous post that on page 5 section 1.22 of the AN form, it doesn't have a tick box for the LIUK test, but requests the test number:

"I have passed the Life in the UK test and attach confirmation. The test number is ... "

Unfortunately I dont have the test number, so I wanted to confirm with the UKBA that they have got my certificate.

What would you suggest?

Thanks again,

Juan Carlos

Hmmm ..... I have just downloaded a form AN from the UKBA website, and at Q1.22 there are a number of tick-boxes. Tick the first :-
