I just got british citizenship, my husband got ILR

Happy New Year!
He got ILR FOR 4 months now, and he stayed in UK for 11 years, can he applied british citizenship on basis of my one(spouse??
or we made mistake, we should applied BRITISH CITIZENSHIP together when I'm applying?

Once you have attended the citizenship ceremony and become British, he can apply as a spouse of BC.
