Happy new year everyone,
I applied for naturalisation along with my wife through NCS on 11/12/12. Our application was received on 14/12/12 ( chcked using tracking ref number).
But till date, I have not received any acknowledgement. The fees has not been deducted from my account too.
I understand, there was christmas break in between. But its been 3 weeks now.
It would be great if someone can advice me?
Shall I contact home office or wait for some more time?

I applied on 17/12 and still no fee taken. I think this is expected for this time of the year.

Sometimes the bank doesn't show transactions until 2/3 days later. Considering the time of the year it may take even longer to show up. Worth calling your bank, maybe?

Hi anm2013 , did you fee still not debited , my case is also same I applied on 17 dec and delivered on 19th and still fee not debited , please keep updated about it

Don't worry, UKBA usually deduct fee and then send you acknowledgement letter. In busy period they said it can take 4 weeks. Good luck.
