Hello. I will like to know if I can be entitled to british citizenship. My grandfather died and was buried in the UK in 1956, he was a student. I am not sure if under the immigration rules in existence then he could have been a british citizen considering the fact that he was from a country that was a british colony at the time of his stay and death in the UK. Suggestions and advice are welcomed. Thank you.

When was your grandfather born and in which country was he born? Do you have solid proofs of all in info?
Where was your father born and when was he born? When was your mother born and where was she born?
When were you born and where were you born?

I think my grandfather was born in Nigeria. My dad and myself were born in Nigeria as well. I have my grand father's death certificate and I have been able to find where he was buried in uk.
