Acknowledgement delay for my son

Dear friends,
I have applied for naturalisation for myself and for my son on 26-Nov-12 thro NCS, I got the acknowledgement on 08/12/12 but still the acknowledgement for MN1 has not been received yet. I am bit worried now because it is getting late. Anybody can give me a best advice to track the application. I have contacted the UKBA phone number that was put in this forum but no response. Also I sent email to them but no replies yet.
I would appreciate if any of you can give me some confidence of how to get this sorted out because I have spent more time in getting references from GP etc., No money has been taken from my account...
