Take child personally to NCS appointment for MN1?

Hi Forum,
This may be a stupid question, but no where could I find anything about whether I need to take my 3 year old to the NCS appointment for MN1 registration.
Can anyone who has done this in the past point me in the right direction?

You could call up the NCS and find out. If a number is not listed, locate the 'Register office' for the council.

No, you don't need take your child (under eighteen) for NCS appointment - you just carry all her douments and yours as required by home office

Thanks for the reply kmore97, this is what the NCS just advised me as well.
Do you think it was worth using the NCS, when you did, as it looks like you might have going by your reply.

The advantage of applying through NCS is that you get to retain all original documents including the Child's passport. NCS will verify and send the copies.
Since the MN1 application may take up to three months, you don't have to wait for it to come in case you have to travel during that time
