Can the ROA be inherited to husband/wife?

My wife has ROA to the UK, her father holds a British passport and we are all living in Malaysia. I would like to migrate to the UK as soon as possible and would like to ask what is the best way to do this. I am a Malaysia citizen who has family in the UK, my wife's siblings are all living in the UK.
Does her ROA automatically apply to me and our son as well?
I would greatly appreciate any advice as the British embassy in Malaysia doesn't seem to be able to advise us.

You and your son have no right of abode. Your wife would need to sponsor your settlement visas.

thanks lucapooka,
your message is greatly appreciated. i have checked on spouse visa sponsorship and apparently my wife will need to have proof of accommodation (which i think we can use her sister's house since we will be staying there for the first 12 months) and 22,400 pounds in cash to prove that we can live without financial help.
All this, i think is achievable, however, would she have to prove she's got the money or does she have to prove that she has a job and is EARNING 22,400 pounds for us to be considered?
and could you recommend a plan B?
Thanks and regards

Plan B: If your wife is British, then she may consider initially
working in another EEA country for a few months.

Thanks vinny, that is another option.
i was wondering what other options do we have to get everything processed from Malaysia as my wife wont be able to be away from our son for too long.
Thanks again for your advice.

The amount of qualifying income from on-going employment has to be 22,400 but in her case, without such income, you would need 72,250 in savings. Furthermore, this sum would need to have been held in cash for six months before the application.
