CITIZENSHIP/NATURALISATION APPLICATION

Hi,
I will am applying for naturalisation in march 2013. In Dec 2012, I received a PCN for Using a mobile phone whilst driving.

I paid the £60 fine and handed my licence and received 3 points. I did not contest it.

My question is in regard to section 3.6 (AN Form) about criminal convictions

Should I tick YES or NO? I did not go to court and therefore I believe
I was not convicted.

Where should I declare that I had a fixed penalty notice that has now
been paid off and points endorsed?

How will this affect my application.

Thank you for taking the time to read!
Clement

fixed penalty notice are not convictions provided that court did not get involved. It has been discussed here many times (please do a search).
in your case you dont need to declare as it is not a conviction
