Hello Everyone

I think this place will clear my doubts.

Mine and my spouse ILR is due in August'2013. we have a kid born in UK
and now he is in India with his Grand Parents.
Is it possible to apply British Citizenship for my kid from India once i get my ILR in August'13.



if it is possible,,,what is the process for applying???????

do i need to apply for naturalization and then apply for British passport

or is it possible to register baby as a British citizen without naturalization
and apply British passport.

or do i need to bring my baby back to UK to apply for citizenship

few of my friends said if the kid is under 18 and born in UK to the settled parents we can register them as British citizens without naturalization.

too much confusion..

some one please help me out of this

did anyone faced this before and applied British citizenship from abroad for UK born children while parents are in UK..
