Hi All,

Very urgent help please. My mother in India not well and I want to send my wife and baby to India for a month.My child Naturalised on 9th Jan 2013 , Indian passport surrendered and got the certificate, but no PIO applied still(about to apply this week) so my question is without Indian visa can he travel with my wife (she has ILR) ? Please reply with your views , how we can get an PIO urgently OR can he travel as its less than 3 months since he got naturalised ? And how to apply visa from India itself ? Please help.

as you have already surrendered baby's indian passport, you need to get an indian visa for him to travel.
why don't you apply for a tourist visa for this month long visit? it will take couple of days to get it processed. once back in the UK you can apply for OCI or PIO - whatever you wish - at your convenience.
