Hi guys, thanks in advance.
I've just received PR based on 5 years relationship( 4 years marriage) now it is over 6 years and I want to apply for British(based on informations under EEA regulations). My question is.
What do I have to do first, and regarding life is the UK I heard if you have a some language certificates you don't have to do the test.
Can you please help me out. thanks

Thanks for reply. It does say if you have ESOL certificate then is fine and just tick some where, but I have OCR level 1 certificate for adult literacy and level 2 in English for Edexcel Function Skills Qualification. Do you think I'm ok with this or I still have to go for Life test? Many thanks for reply.

Your ESOL qualification won't meet the requirement for British Citizenship.
This passage from the UKBA website explains:
The course must have included citizenship materials derived from the document 'Citizenship Materials for ESOL Learners' (ISBN: 1-84478-5424).
I suggest you read through the rules thoroughly in this link:

Thanks Casa, I've checked it and yes I will take the test.
About naturalization, can I apply for it based on 6 years of relationship with EEA( married 4 years, that is what I got PR) or do I have to wait for 1 year after PR? many thanks.

If you are not the spouse or civil partner of a British citizen, then you also
need to have
PR for at
least one year.
