What is Baby's immigration status??

I am expecting my first child. I am a British citizen by birth, but my partner has recently applied for ILR so not yet settled.
Is my child entitled to direct British citizenship because I am British?
Or is my childs status effected by the fact that my partner is not settled?
On my child's birth certificate should I enter the fathers name or will this effect my child's entitlement to citizenship as father is not settled?
