For British Citizenship application, I've got the following as refree's:

• 1. My husband's cousin brother - He is a doctor (heart specialist)
  2. My neighbor - He is retired

Is this ok? Really not sure, please advise.

I would recommend you read the AN Guide in detail. Your relatives cannot be your referee.

as for second person he/she needs to be British Citizens, does`t make difference what he/she is/was doing as long is over 25 years.

Really? I read that but then I thought my husband's cousin is not a close relative.. in that sense so many persons will be out of picture..

Can anyone please confirm this?

Actually, the professional refree is my Husband's father's cousin.
Is this ok, please advise otherwise I'll have to find someone else..
