British Passport - Incorrect Signature

Hi All,
Let me start by thanking the Forum, it has helped me a lot. Thank you so much Immigrationboards Forum
My wife applied for the British Passport, we got married long back, but she has not changed her surname to her married name.
She wanted to change her surname to her married name and has been asked by the passport office to provide deed poll
(As the naturalisation certificate was on her maiden name).
She applied for deed poll and sent it to the passport office with new name and new signature
Everything was fine until she attended the passport interview, the officer noticed that her signature was old signature and taken a form to change it to new signature.
But she received the passport but with old signature.
Could Somebody please advice as to how to get it sorted
