I'd like to let members know that part of my Visiting Visa counted towards my 3 year residency as I got ILR in September 2012. It is physical presence that really matters (if you are a British Spouse) provided all other regulations are followed.

Had my Ceremony at Islington Town Hall on Monday 10-06-2013,
it was beautiful. We were over 50 new citizens who attended.

Applied for my passport the same day as I had already filled and signed my form.

Council had the certificate and offered an instant private ceremony (£100) but I am going on holiday today so there was no point in rushing the ceremony.

Update: 31-05-2013: Got a letter dated 29th May from UKBA. They need my expired passport showing showing residence for the May2008-Nov 2009. I thought since my ILR stamp was in new passport, that was all they needed. (big mistake on my part). Have already posted old passport in pre-addressed envelope they included. They also returned all our other documents + passports (so guess it's a good sign). Peeved off, that they sent letter + documents using 2ND class mail instead of the special delivery envelope I submitted with my application. Anyway, glad I got all my documents back.

Updated: 14-06-2013: We have been approved. Got the letter in the post today confirm such. We are ecstatic. Still annoyed they sent my passport and documents via 2ND CLASS mail and not in the Special delivery envelope originally submitted with application. Well £5 down the drain but I did get all my documents back. Thanks Royal Mail

We sent separate applications as our marriage certificate is misplaced.

As you can see even though two applications were sent at the same time (from same post office using SD), there was 2 days delay for second application processing.

FOR ATTENTION OF EVERYBODY
All our moderators are superb,almost all of them has gotten their citizenship but they still stay around to be advising everyone in need of immigration help.
If possible a paypal account or bank account should be opened by the joint agreement of moderators for the running cost and maintenance of this website and everybody in Immigration board should be able to contribute cheerfully.
Besides,If anybody think a moderator or anyone on the forum has offered them important advice that would have cost them hundred of quids,such adviser must be rewarded.God bless you all

Letter received on 15/06 ( dated 12/06 ) as self sufficient on the year 2009 and part of 2010 . they need more information of : Bank account enough found, sickness insurance .., send a e-mail to UKBA ask some questions... with the caseworker case, but not receive answer yet, (19/06/2013 )... no longer have my EHIC card... I request proof info to the country issue EEA . and not receive answer... ..
Try find information if not proof enough evidence of my sickness insurance application can be refused..but there is not many cases.
