Hi Guys,

If someone can put some light on my issue as follows:
My application is based in 5 years on (HSMP+ Tier 1 General) + 1 year ILR and fulill all other requirements.

Question:
My mother first name as per my Indian Passport is SHAMSHIYA but my mother first name as per her passport and document is SHAMSIA {which is actually correct}. It is an spelling different.

Option 1: So, should I be apply with the name as per my passport? If yes, when my mother applies for Visit or Family Visa in future, will that be a problem to her?
Option 2: If I go by her passport, will this be a problem for my Naturalisation application.

Much appreciate for your help?
Kind regards

the name you put on the AN form should match your passport and official documents like BRP and birth certificate.

i recently received a letter from ukba about my daughters MN1 application asking me to provide documentary evidence for my daughter to show why her second/middlename was not included on the form when her passport, birth cert and brp list her second/middle name and they needed to clarify the discrepancy.

so your names have to match exactly what your official docs say
