I just received my settlement visa a month ago through the 14 year route.

I just want to ask when I can apply fro a British passport and how. I paid 950 for the 14 year ILR and with that got a settlement visa.

They dont explain how to proceed from here, as I dont have a passport do I renew my old expired passport or have to pay another 950 for naturalization and apply for a british passport or am I already naturalized? :?

I really hope you can help as Im not sure how to proceed.

Thank you in advance.

Naturalisation is the process of becoming a British citizen. You are not one yet. You are only settled in the UK. Because you have been illegal in the UK, you will need to wait several years before applying. You can only apply after you complete 5 years of legal stay in the UK. In your case, this period started when you made your ILR application.
