This is for one of my friends.
Baby is due soon. Mother is a British and citizen of Bangladesh (DUAL nationality). Father is a Pakistani and holds ILR (UK).
Mother wants to go to Pakistan for urgent reason. In case baby is born in Pakistan then:
1) What would be the status of the baby?
2) Can the baby apply for UK passport from Pakistan directly?
Please details help would be useful.

Was the mother born in the UK? Is she a naturalised British citizen?

In that case, the child would be British (by decent) from birth and could apply for a pasport from Pakistan.

What is the difference if Mother Born in UK or Born outside UK. After all She is a British (by whatever means she came to be a british)?

British citizenship has a concept of citizenship "by decent" and citizenship "other than by decent".
The difference is that a British citizen born abroad to a British parent is a citizen by decent and can't pass BC to his children if they are born abroad.

Chapter 20: British citizenship "by descent" and "otherwise than by descent".

Thanks Jumbo.
So, if a naturalised citizen (british, not by birth) of UK has any child born abroad (New born), what would be his (child) status? The child would be stateless?

Naturalised citizen is considered "other than by decent" which means that his child born abroad would be British citizen "by decent".
