LIFE IN UK TEST FOR FAMILY MEMBER OF EEA

basically my father is portugal citizen and i have join my father when i was 13 years old and done me school, college and university here. I got my ilr on december 2009. Now i am thinking to apply for naturalisation do i have to give life in uk test or can i submit letter for university.

You have to submit the pass certificate for the Life in the UK test, so yes, you need to do the test. The only people who are exempt are those who are under 18 and those who are over 65 or people with documented health (mental) issues etc.

KOL = Knowledge of language and life in the UK - if you click on Vinny's link it will explain what the requirements are.
