Dear friends,

Can anyone please advice me on below queries urgently as a matter of urgency.

Today I have been to the post office to send thru check n send service, but dropped lastminute dot com because ...

I went to apply child first BC, I have given my application form and child birth certificate. But the lady who served me at the counter told me that they have to send my originals Passport and ILR biometric to the IPS office. is it true???

I only knew that I have to send passport form, child birth certificate a Naturalisation certificates originals.

I dropped lastminute dot com.

Can anyone please advice me ASAP, that what forms and originals to send the IPS office inorder to get child first BC.

I am holding indian passport with the ILR biometric card.

You do not apply for child's British Citizenship at post office. You have to make an application to UKBA.

IPS does not give citizenship to anyone. IPS only issues passports.

Sorry guys, it was my mistake. It was typing error, I went to apply for the BP not BC. My child already obtained BC thru my ILR.

Thanks everyone for replies.

Anyways, I went again yesterday to PO. Now another lady said that no need to send my passport along with child passport form. I applied at last BP for my child thru C and S service yesterday and submitted child birth certificate and child citizenship certificate thru naturalisation.

I just want to know gurus that am I correct? That I didn't send my passport.

Now you have sent what you sent, so no point pondering over what was correct or what was wrong.

If IPS needs something else, they will write to you.
