Does my daughter qualify for British Citizenship

We have just become british citizens (my husband and I), Our daughter who is 11years now and born abroad was brought into this country at age 2 and she has never gone back. She has no legal stay as at now. We applied for leave to remain for her last year but it was rejected with explanation that even though we (her parents) had indefinite leave to remain, she had not spent 7 continuous year here in uk as at the time of application.
Now that we have naturalised, should we just register her as a british citizen as she has now spent more than the 7 years they requested or do we do another fresh application for leave to remain.

Many thanks

See Other cases where it is considered to be in the child's best interests to be granted British citizenship

Thanks for replying quickly. So better to apply for registration for her rather though at their discretion which is fair enough than leave to remain
