Questions on filling the form

Dear Seniors,

I would like to ask few questions, please if somebody can reply me.
I and my wife, have got ILR last year. She was my dependant earlier and I was on Tier 1 General (2+3). I downloaded the AN form and guidance.

1. We are both eligible to apply together as in 5 years category.
4 + 1 year on ILR. Please correct me If I am wrong.

2. If yes, I understand we can apply together as a joint application. Do we need to fill form for each of us or 1 form will do?.

3. 5 years addresses:- In between the whole tenure, I have lived in a temporary location for 5-6 months. I applied post redirection to my temporary address at that time. Therefore, I did not change any of my address details in the documents. Do I need to mention that Address too in my form or the redirection address is fine? I will not be able to provide any evidence as document, as it was post redirection. Please if somebody can comment.

4. For the referee, one can be friend who is british(is it ok if he/she is not working or working professional), and the other could be GP right? Is it fine if same person signed on both our forms?

5. And we can use the same LIUK test certificates, as we used for ILR. We are applying before October. Please confirm

Many thanks

4 + 1 year on ILR. Please correct me If I am wrong. Yes, as long as you meet all the standard requirements

2. If yes, I understand we can apply together as a joint application. Do we need to fill form for each of us or 1 form will do?. You each need to complete your own form

3. 5 years addresses:- In between the whole tenure, I have lived in a temporary location for 5-6 months. I applied post redirection to my temporary address at that time. Therefore, I did not change any of my address details in the documents. Do I need to mention that Address too in my form or the redirection address is fine? I will not be able to provide any evidence as document, as it was post redirection. Please if somebody can comment. All addresses need to be mentioned. You will not be asked for proof of address for 5 years.

4. For the referee, one can be friend who is british(is it ok if he/she is not working or working professional), and the other could be GP right? Is it fine if same person signed on both our forms? Yes and yes as long as they have know you for 3 years.

5. And we can use the same LIUK test certificates, as we used for ILR. We are applying before October. Please confirm Yes

Many thanks

Thank you Cr001, for replying to my each questions.

I am bit confused with the Referees.

1. One Referee for myself could be my director or accountant in my office.
My director who is a lady and she knows both of us. Can I use her as well for my wife's application? I am not sure, what should we write in the column how does she know her, ? because of me working in he office or what?
Or I cannot use her.

2. The other can be a GP person or a Bank Person( I am with the bank more than 3 years). For GP any nurse or doctor can sign and can be same for both of our applications. or For Bank, Bank Manager is ok?

Or I cannot use her. If she is signing as your personal referee, she can write family friend or just friend as long as she has know both of you for 3 years. Also, please note that the referee needs to complete the relevant section and sign it

Many thanks once again.

So For Professionl referee
1. a doctor cannot sign but only a nurse?

2. I can also use Bank/building society official. If require, than Bank Manager would suffice?

3. My wife does not work, so in the section 3, Good Character Requirement
3.2 Are you, an employee a business partner, self-employed , a director. She does not belong to any of these? Can we leave this as blank/

4. We do not have to fill in Section 4, Crown service even we are using NCS. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks again for your prompt reply.

1. There are no options available in 3.2 to write but it has 4 ticks options which I mentioned.
3.1 Are you, an employee , a business partner, self-employed , a director. So. I will fill housewife in the above box which is 3.1 (current occuptation) and leave 3.2 then.

2. I guess I just need to ask one more thing. Although I cannot find that I need to submit my bank statements, employer letters, payslips or p60 etc here? Do you think I still have to add them in the document list?

You don't need any of them but I would suggest if you are using NCS to submit, take P60s and employer letters with you in case they ask. But you definitely don't need bank statements and payslips.

Thanks very much for all of your help.

This raises one more question sorry. My p60, and salary slips are made online since last year. So, is it ok If I print them out and signed it by my employer?

You don't need your payslips. Only your P60 in case they ask for them.

Thanks. I understood, but what I am saying is, my p60 is also an online document, Shall i just print it out and sign it by my employer. I am not sure, but I did not get a printed copy this year.
