child's school teacher as Professional referee

Post by a2zwd » Thu Jul 11, 2013 3:30 pm

Hi,

We (me, wife and child - 6.5 yrs) got ILR on 31st Jul 2012.

We are getting ready for naturalisation in the first week of Aug'13.

We are planning to ask my child's school teacher as professional referee.

My child is attending school since 3 years(Nursery, Reception and Year 1 at the moment).

My question is, does the HO contact scholl teacher once they receive our application? I am afraid the school will be closed for 6 weeks holidays from 20th Jul 2013.

Is this fine?

I used my daughters' teacher for her application and they did not contact her but she provided her mobile number and home and school address.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. Can we(me and my wife) also use my child’s teacher as professional referee?

Thanks

Should be fine as long as child's teacher is happy to sign.

child referee during school holidays

Post by GiveMeBC » Sat Aug 10, 2013 6:03 pm

Hi,

Can please some guide me that who can sign for my child's referee as schools are closed and health visitor is asking for £25 to sign it.

I can get other professionals to sign his application but not sure if HO will accept it.

Can you please guide me?

Report the Health Visitor

Givemebc,

This is blatant corruption. Report that health visitor to the NHS fraud hotline.

Also who else do you have by way of referee for your kid? what professionals are you talking about?

Cheers

Thanks VR for your response.

I am getting signed by a IT professional working with MNC and another is Doctor doing private job. Is it OK?

I think for a child case one refree should be some one involved in child carers. Check it.

Thanks Shondra,

Yes, In the guideliness, it is mentioned like that but becuase due to school holidays and NHS's doctor is asking £25 as fee, I don't left with my options.

I wanted to check if someone earlier had applied for MN1 without getting referee from school teacher or health visitor and How was there experience?

Does anyone know HO contact number so that I can check with them?

Regards,
Mohit

For your child case either you need to wait a school open or need to pay GP, generally Gp charge for administration fee for some amount, my Gp also asking £30 for any letter.

Thanks,

I called to Home office just now. They mentioned that one referee should be a person that knows my child in professional capacity. They did not have answer to deal a scenario where schools are closed, Doctor is asking a fee for sign and you don't know any minister of religion.

Quite frastrating....
