can someone tell me if its acceptable to have a gap addresses for the past five years on AN form for citizenship?

1.17 Please provide your addresses for the past five years.

(I have been living in the uk for 7 years, I have documents confirming that I lived at some addresses, however there is one situation that
till 1 OCT 2010 I lived at London, where my rent ended, then from 2 OCT 2010 - 14 OCT 2010 I was away and then on 15 OCT 2010 I moved into new place in London, new rent.

I do not have UK confirmation of address for 2 OCT 2010-14 OCT 2010, in this case I should right address where I was on holiday on these days, or just skip days and leave those days on form:

1 OCT 2009 - 1 OCT 2010 London
15 OCT 2010 - 13 JULY 2013 Manchester?

thanks

What do you mean you were away??

If you were out of the country for your holidays, you will include that info in the relevant section of the form.

All you need to do is work back and provide 5 full years addresses in UK as you actually stayed at.

On the other hand if you had moved to a shared accomodation in the gap that you mention , give that address. If you had not exited the country which address had you given for your bank statement purposes. Keep it in sync with this.

NOWHERE do they say that they expect you to give the details accurate upto days, minutes and seconds........
cheers

what I wanted to find out was if it's OK if in that section I write addresses from 5 last years and there will be a 2 week gap in addresses as when I stopped living at 1 address, I went abroad for holiday and got back after two weeks to a new place/address.

so in adresses will be gap like

1/oct/2007 - 1/oct/2009 London

15/oct/2009 - 05/may/2013 Manchester

so in the form gap with no address is from 02/oct/2009 - 14/oct/2009

is that OK?

Would be fine I think.. dont stress with these application forms. Use logic and think how you would have done if you were to check these forms.
