Urgent traffic offence

Hey guys so pissed off, excuse my language
Just been stopped by police half hour ago saying I was not on proper control of the vehicle because I had phone on my hand. They issue me traffic offence report an they said a letter should arrive to my address soon, I would have to send my driver licence to dvla an I ll lose 3 point on my licence
But my concern is would effect my BC application note that I applied on 28/05/2013
