child born out outside the UK

Im asking question on behalf of ny friend who is british citizen living in the uk and want to apply child registeration who was born abroad and still living outside the uk
Please advice

Is the parent British by descent or not?
If the parent was naturalised, was the child born before or after naturalisation?

Child was born after the parents got naturalised.

Child is British by descent. Doesn't need to register and can apply for British Passport.
