Hi,

Quick question.
Once we have had you ILR for one year we can apply for citizenship....One of

One of my friend told me that if you have brought property in UK then the waiting time would be 10 months instead of 12 months. Is this right?

Thanks in advance,
Rubiana

It might be debatable since in the guidelines I remember reading about discretion of the HO officer for granting an approval which is not fully complying with the residence requirement on the basis of you have set a life here having your property and family with kids raising up in UK bla bla but never seen or heard except for 1-2 solicitors claiming that they can achieve such if it's them making the application as representative...

Why risk it for 60 days of further waiting?

Having most of your estate in the UK relates to discretion on absences rather than the 12 month settlement period.
