Dear Amber,

Many people have applied for their naturalization and are worried about the impact of the Postal Strike which is expected to happen from middle of next month.

Will it be possible for you to find out, through your sources/ lines of communication with the Border Agency as to what measures they plan to have in place to mitigate the fallout of the above?

Thank you.
Best Rgds

Until the strikes are confirmed it could be difficult, but I'll ask if they have a plan in place. Might be a time to try out text SMS alerts

Thanks Amber

That's actually a very good idea SMS alerts; any means of communication would be better than letter, I think.

I was also thinking that they could send the letter by email as a PDF attachment.

Let's hope someone there makes some sensible decision. Email, SMS, phone, pigeons... anything will do...

Let's hope so.... I guess Amber will find out nearer the time; if they just made her home secretary, everything would work a lot better at the HO :)
