Hello,

I have met all the other requirements for Naturalisation except the absences in the last 12 months.I have got my ILR done in June 2010.My absences are more than 90 days in the last 12 months of the qualifying period, but UKBA website says the absences will be disregarded..
If you have been absent from the UK for up to 100 days in total during the final year, we normally disregard the absence.

If you have been absent from the UK for between 101 and 180 days in total during the final year, we normally disregard the absence if:

you have met the residence requirements over the qualifying period; and
you have demonstrated a link with the UK by establishing your home, family and a large part of your estate here.
I'm happy that I've met the first requirement because my stay in UK is more than the qualifying period.
you have met the residence requirements over the qualifying period; and
I'm the co applicant applying for the Naturalisation as a family along with my husband. My husband is fully qualified as per the requirements and my kid is British Citizen. Would this be enough to satisfy the second requirement
you have demonstrated a link with the UK by establishing your home, family and a large part of your estate here.
My absences amount to 135 days in the last 12 months, so am i okay to attend the NCS appointment on 02nd October 2013 as a family.

135 days absence over the residential qualifying period is nothing. They have a much higher discretion.

But you will need to show some legitimate reason for your absence (compassionate or compelling).

Plus if your family has bought a house in UK taking those documents with you

Plus if you have any kin already settled in UK take letters from them to show that you have close family links to UK.

Mention all this on Page 13 and in the last bit of your AN Form 6.7 and you should be fine.

If your children are enrolled in school take proofs of that too. All of this will help.
