HI Friends,

I am looking to apply for BC for my son who was born in UK. NCS appointments are not available till mid nov. So I was thinking of applying by post. Please advise if
Full Birth certificate.
My marriage certificate and
my BRP card

is enough for the process. I have seen on the forum that people have sent their passports but my passprt has no Visa Vignette apart from the original Tier 1. Do i need to send it was well.
Some of my friends have sent post office attested copies of the above document. Pls advise if this is valid or only orignals are accepted.
Thanks

Strictly speaking only originals or NCS/solicitor attested documents are accepted. In practice, PO would probably also be OK.

You can use a notary public as opposed to just a solicitor (sometimes cheaper).
