Hi there I have applied on 19th September through NCS and they received documents on 20th September

Today is 27th September and still no fees debited from my account I guess delay begins for Citizenship application

if you applied on or After 19th September Please keep us updated about your application status

this is minor they can take upto 2 weeks for fee deduction. lots and lots will apply before rule change

trust me most of us understand the anticipation

I have applied on 18 September though NCS. Application reached there 20th September. Still the fee is not debited from my account.

Same here

Keep us notified is there any thing we can do to avoid this delay

I applied through NCS on September 23rd, UKBA received my application on the 24th, no fees debited yet.

Update: my account was finally debited today (02/10), 8 days after they received my application (24/09).

Agreed. While inquiring about my NCS appointment the NCS staff indicated they were fully booked in October due to rule changes. That coupled with postal strike suggest that Sep and Oct applicants may be keeping HO busy. Relax you've come so far....

Money has been taken from the account on 1st October applied on 19th September

Hi I send my aplication on 25/09/2013 and was delivered on 26/09/2013 money still not been taked!

Not yet got my Acknowledgment letter. applied on 20th September.

Dont Wait and getting worried send them an email


Check your bank account money has been taken or not , if money is not out from your account than there could be an issue with the payment

Send you details and mobile number in case they want to contact you back

I applied he same time as you and also on edge waiting for them to take the fees, so I rang them yesterday and was advised that they have large backlog because of the rule change and if my fees still not been taken in 2 weeks time I should ring again.... they did confirm my application has been received and in Que... guess all we can do is hang in there

The money they have already taken of my account the only thing i did not receive an acknowledgment letter.

Finally can say my application has started rolling.. they have taken my fees 8th October...

Called HO today to know the status, The guy told me your case is still not been allocated. Strange

Its not at all strange ...

It has been just 10 days since your fees have been debited and defintely they take lot longer than 10 days to process, for some its taken months... So buddy, sit back and relax, it will come back when it has do, there is nothing much we can do about it really ...

Same they told me . We are in the same boat. Nothing we can do except to wait.

I think the right question is to ask

Visa/Immigration officer is allocated for my application ?

I think there is no point being so impatient. From current timelines it appear that due to last minute rush there is upto 3 weeks delay in taking the payment. After payment has been taken it takes about a month for the approval.
