In my opinion, If applicant have option of applying through more than one NCS (fees wise or appointment availability wise), then you can search the forum for how a particular NCS is faring & then decision making about choosing NCS becomes easier.

like in my case I did have option of applying through 3 different NCS, all were offering same fees, but when I searched for these 3 NCS, I found that there wasn't data available for one of them, second was bit slow in sending applications to UKBA, third one looked bit better than other two, so I went for it.

Second point, I saw many posts complaining about staff who handles cases at NCS were little less on knowledge about rules & regulations & caused stress to applicants, now, if we have data about such cases, then anyone who is making decision of applying through whichever NCS will have little respite. So I just wanted to have statistical decision for people to make rather than luck when it comes to choosing NCS.

That's why sharing experiences about applied NCS would help others along with timeline. just my 2 pence worth thought.

would you mind sharing which 3 NCS you are talking about?

HI
I just called Hillingdon Council as I am applying today. They stated that the new application is for the new round starting October 28th. They clarified that they ask the applicant if they filled in the form when they book appointment, so you do not have to worry about it if you already filled in application. I also had a look at the new one, it is identical to the old one.
