Hello Members

I am filling in the fees leaflet and on the payment details page it asks for the following

Applicant Name
Applicant Date of Birth
Town & Country of Birth

How would you fill this if husband and wife applying togther? Do you try squeeze all the details in the same box.

Thanks

I may be wrong here but even if husband and wife are applying together they have to fill individual AN forms?

At least thats the impression I got from the NCS people when I called for an appointment this morning.

You confused me further. It can't be separate forms because when husband and wife apply together the pay discounted fee of £1550.

Please help

husband wife together - one payment form with both names mentioned. total pay amount is the discounted amount for joint application.

I have been following the forum for a while it appears that credit/debit card payments are taking up to 7-10 days. Has anyone paid by cheque recently?

How many days cheque payment is taking?

Thanks
imran22 wrote:Also any idea if the payment is decline through the credit/debit card method how long UKBA takes to come back to applicant and ask for another mode of payment?
imran22 wrote:Hello Members,

Is Cheque not a popular option? Cheques anyone?

Can you please say how many days it took for the money to be deducted from your account when you paid with cheque?

Thank you

Cheques are being phased out because they need to 'clear' (3-5 working days) so I imagine they're not so popular.

Did you pay be cheque or anyone you know who paid by cheque? The only reason I am so concerned is because the new language requirement rules meant that my wife will have to sit an English exam as she has no degrees from UK (or any other English speaking country) if she applies after 28th October.

Payment is already taking couple of weeks at least to go through and if UKBA keyed in my card number incorrectly as they have done in the past then by the time they will send my application back it will already be pass 28th October.

I just wanted to gather as much information as possible about cheques and whether draft will be any quicker?

Many thanks

I am applying for a couple and a child. As I understood parents have to fill in one payment slip with both names on. But what about the kid? Shall I fill in a separate slip or add it up and make a single payment for all 3 of us?
I appreciate the reply.

I would keep child payment slip separate. simplify.

Hello members

I am thinking to pay by cheque. Do you think i should staple the cheque to the fees leaflet so that it doesn't get lost?

Thanks
