can I apply for uk passport with expured indian passport

I entered uk with my ibdian passport which expires on 9th october.i get my naturalization certificate in a few days so can I apply for uk passport with expired indian passport

With your naturalization certificate in hand, I don't think it matters if your Indian passport is current or not.
I thought India doesn't allow dual nationality.

Thanks but i see the when we apply for uk passport we should send original indian passport alon with nat certificate. would they object if it is expired.

They will not object, its clearly written in passport guidance book. "Send all original uncancelled passport even expired."
I have same situation.
