Naturalization + OCI Card

All

Sorry for being a bit too early with this question/request. I am likely to face a diff situation for next year and want to ensure that I fully prepare for it in case of any complications.

Scenario:

1. Applied and got my BRP card 26th Sep 2013.
2. Eligible for an internal move to New York (Dates can be arranged for after naturalisation).
3. If I am to finish my naturalisation (26th Sep 2014 + admin days to complete the process) and then move to New York, can I apply for my OCI card in New York? Or should I come to London to complete this process?

Again, this might be too early to ask this question, but as mentioned I want to ensure I am preparing it correctly from here on (in case any documents are needed or forms to be completed etc.).

Thanks in advance for any responses on this

Sankyb84,

I reliably learn the process is easier here. If you have the time complete the process here and move. I am doing it now and have deferred my move to USA.
cheers

Thanks for coming back Vr.

My preference is to apply it here and get it before heading to US. However, I wanted to confirm what happens if I dont have a choice but to move to US first and then complete my OCI work.

Thanks
