NICE FORUM AND VERY INFORMATIVE,MY FIRST TIME POSTING HERE SO APOLOGIES IF I MAKE ANY MISTAKE OR POST SOMEWHERE I WASNT SUPPOSED TO
ANYWAYS MY STORY IS,CAME TO UK IN 2005 FEB AS A STUDENT,GOT MARRIED IN DEC 2007 TO AN EEA NATIONAL,WIFE AND I SPLIT UP IN MAR 2011 AS WE COULDNT WORK IT OUT BUT STILL KEPT THE MARRIAGE IN A VIEW WE MAY GET BACK TOGETHER ONE DAY.REASON FOR SEPERATION WAS WE BOTH WORKED OUT OF TOWN EVEN THOUGH WE USED TO LIVE TOGETHER BUT THE SPACE KEPT ON GROWING.STILL USED TO SEE EACH OTHER BUT NEVER LIVED TOGETHER AFTER 2011.IN APRIL 2013 GOT THE PERMANENT RESIDENCY.AFTER THAT WIFE DECIDED TO DIVORCE AND SHE DIVORCED ME ON THE GROUNDS OF 2 YEARS WILFUL SEPARATION DECREE ABSOLUTE WAS GRANTED ON 6TH SEP 2013(PROBABLY SHE WAS JUST WAITING FOR MY PR AND I NEVER WANTED TO DIVORCE HER NOR DID I FILED THE PETITION BUT ANYWAYS)
NEVER BEEN ABSENT FROM COUNTRY FOR MORE THAN 2 MONTHS IN A YEAR,ALWAYS PAID MY TAXES AND IN ALWAYS IN EITHER PART TIME OR FULL TIME EMPLOYMENT WITH ROUGHLY 6 OR 8 MONTHS GAP IN ALL THOSE YEARS WHEN I DIDNT HAVE ANY JOB.NEVER CLAIMED BENEFITS
QUESTION IS CAN I APPLY FOR BC QUICKER OR DO I HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL APRIL 2014? PLEASE GUIDE IF YOU CAN,IT WILL BE MUCH APPRECIATED

but in that scenario will my permanent residency be effective from dec 2012(married for 5 years from dec 2007-dec 2012)?
even though i was granted for permanent residency in april 2013
plus my marriage is effectively over as of sep 2013,will that matter?

i was checking out that post you kindly recommended but am confused about how to apply i.e if i go for applying under 6 years of residence (5 years marriage and 1 year completing on dec 2013)

if the above is correct,can i apply in dec 2013 by sending all the proofs of last 6 years like bank statements and stuff? and will the divorce matter or not

HI; Get ready you can apply for BC in DEC 2013. it's 6 years after marriage even if they issued you resident card later.

PR after 5 years + 1yr

Don't worry about divorce anymore. You are not dependent on your EX wife after PR

just a query about supporting documents

will bank statements from the last 6 years suffice?
i might not have all the payslips or p60's,actually might not have anything at all just a few bits here and there (not enough to cover the whole six years )
but definately all the payslips from the last 2 years

also i dont have the marriage certificate anymore.or the photocopy of it

how will they know my marriage start date and stuff to ensure i was granted pr on dec 2012

will them be enough?
what else i might need as a supporting document?

If you don't hold documents to prove you have been living for 5 years under the regulations, the HO would not be able to confirm your PR. bank statements on their own are not enough. Read the application form (EEA4) for a list of required documents.
