Hi ,

Applying for naturalisation along with my wife. My wife she entered as student visa in oct 2007 and then as Tier 1 dependent from July 2009. However she was on 2 months family visitor (visiting me after marriage as her student visa had expired) between May 2009-June 2009. My concern is though she is in UK for more than 5 yrs , will the visitor visa for 2 months will that be an objection for normalisation?

Not an issue. She is not required to hold visas/being a resident during the full 5 years. She is required to have been legal (visit visa included) while she was in the country.

Thanks for this info Jambo, but there was gap of 3 months before she returned to UK and for those 3 months she did not had any type of visa (2009). Does this considered as absence?

It is considered an absence the same way a holiday abroad would be considered. It falls within the 450 days allowed. It is not considered a gap that breaks the 5 years of residence.
