Hi all,

I submitted my son's MN1 application on 23-Sept-2013. I received acknowledgement letter on 5th October (dated 2nd), payment was taken around same time. Based on current timelines, it usually takes 4 weeks to receive registration certificate. I had applied through NCS Reading.

Would you recommend to wait for some more time or contact enquiries?

Thanks,
Rajesh

You'll have to be patient, you can email ukbanationalityenquiries@ukba.gsi.gov.uk and ask

I have submitted my infant son's application(MN1 - section 1(3)) on 28th June and still waiting.
I have verified all my referees and none have received any reference check requests. I have also mailed ukbanationalityenquiries@ukba.gsi.gov.uk and asked them questions but haven't received any satisfactory reply.
Its absolute test of patience if I need to wait for 6 months. I had to send my son to India for urgent reasons and I can't get him back without passport or applying for ILR dependent which I avoided.
Does anybody have any idea what can be done in my situation? Does anyone know what can be done in case I have missed any letter of communication from UKBA?
The NCS through which I applied seemed convinced my application will be processed in 1 month but its taking for ever....
