Hi all,

We are expecting our approval this or next week.
When we get it I would like to book a ceremony asap.

A few questions -
1. Do I need to wait for an invitation letter from our council (westminster) or can I just call them and book it as soon as I get approval letter?

2. Which ceremony can be booked sooner - private or normal? What's the difference?

Private ceremony is usually quicker, within days, however, will cost an additional fee, usually £100-£200.

If you ring up with your ref number the local authority can have a look to see if they've received anything.
