HI I will be eligible to apply for BC in few weeks but I need to go abroad as well, is it possible to send the BC application and then go for Holidays soon after on my ILR and other passport ?

Any help would be appreciated.

Yes you can. Provided you don't miss the ceremony by 90 days after they send you the letter.

Thanks, I am planning for about 50 Holidays and planning to fly 2 days after the BC application ,
do you think I will be alright ?
I heard that ILR gets cancelled automatically when a person becomes British Citizen, is that correct ?

You should be fine. I hope someone will be attending your post? As soon as you get an invitation for the interview (through post) book your interview and if that doesn't happen outside your 50 days, then you can always ring them and postpone it (Provided it doesn't fall farther than 90 days)

Thanks, Yes attending the post is not a problem, and you meant there will be 90 days period from the date BC certificate is issued to attend the interview ?
