Unknown number missed call....could be UKBA ?

I have applied through NCS on 11.10.2013. UKBA have taken the money out of my account already.....and today I had a missed call from an unknown number. I am not sure if they do contact people.....is there a chance that UKBA tried to contact me? Thank you!

It is unlikely to be the UKBA. If they need additional information, they will write a letter to you.

It could be anyone from amongst the 7 billion or so people of this world

i receive unknown call almost every week
sometimes i do pickup but it turn out to be from Phone network ( trying to sell me new contract )
or someone from a agency trying to help me to claim my past PPI insurance
