Hi,

As per UKBA degree should be equivilant to B1 but my NARIC certified copy only confirms that my degree was taught in English also my university gets recognised in point based calculator but it doesn't say whether it's B1 equivilant or not how do I confirm this ?

Thanks
Sai

After reading full thread got little confused as someone stated certificate should say degree was taught in English but my NARIC says only :

Country of award
Title : Masters of ....
Awarding institute
Assessment : is considered comparable to British taught Master's degree standard.

Do I need to take another certificate from NARIC ?

NARIC do not offer another certificate for overseas Masters. If the degree is awarded 30 (qualification) and 10 (English Skills) points on the PBS calculator, a print out of that with the certificate should suffice. If not, a NARIC statement of comparability with a letter/certificate from the awarding institution stating the medium of instruction was English should suffice.

Amber_, can you please point me to the site where the UKBA says one can provide a letter from the awarding institution instead? I can't seem to find it in the guidance note. Thanks
