Hi guys good news to share...just received my approval today after almost 3 months....

....have called the council so waiting for the dates now...good luck to everyone who are still waiting.

I am still waiting.
I applied on 23rd Dec, Fee Deducted on 22 Jan.
I might call them next week, I think I should wait for atleast another week.

Applied on 24th December, fee taken on 23rd Jan. Still no approval. On the forwarding letter, I requested for urgent consideration (if possible) as I need to show proof of Citizenship for a new job (lots of travelling in EU involved in this role). I know some people who applied Beg of Jan and got their approval.

Very frustrated . All documents are in order, no fixed penalty, no criminal record, tax paid on time. Not sure why it is taking so long.

Wish I knew why some who have applied more recently got their approvals a couple of weeks ago. There was nothing complicated about my application.

have bn waiting since 09th of Dec. and until now no approval yet but the same respond all the time... i think d best thing we all need to do is be patient and hope for the best..

No surprise when you have loads from October November still waiting ...

As new months roll on, guess they start taking the application at the top of the pile and dont even bother what remains at the bottom.

They could be focussing on applications recieved in 2014 so they can report healthy stats for the current year.

sameeer why are you so negative? Just about every time you post you're attacking the people making the decisions or the call centre staff.

Just because you have a rubbish attitude it doesn't mean you have to bring everyone else down with you.

Attended the ceremony yesterday and got my citizenship certificate. Thanks to everyone for your assistance and to the people who stayed positive.

Hey thanks. I'm travelling to Australia in 3 weeks and when I get back will probably apply for the passport.
